Chapter 10

• Something heavy was constricting me, causing me to open my eyes and be welcomed by the beautiful features of Giovanni’s face close to mine. When I looked down, I noticed that his hand was on my waist, mine on his too, his foot crossed over mine, and his front touched mine.
• His body was so close to mine that there was no room between us, and my cheek started to warm up at this.
• Then, as fast as these giddy feelings hit me, they were gone.
