Chapter 1 Virginity Lost

  • Virginity Lost
  • The luxurious, retro presidential suite was bathed in romantic, yellow light.
  • A tall, handsome man was lying in bed with his eyes closed, his breathing ragged.
  • Suddenly, the door opened.
  • A petite human was pushed inside from the crack of the door.
  • With a click, the door was locked.
  • Abby Lane had just found her bearings when the man went up to her and held her in his arms. He then tossed her onto the expensive bed.
  • She moved backward on reflex, her teary eyes filled with fear. "Who are you?"
  • Her adoptive mother called her an hour ago to tell her to go for an interview for a supporting actress for a TV drama. The venue was the Siegfried Royal Hotel. The moment she came in, a group of burly men in black snatched her and pushed her inside.
  • The man didn't answer her. All he did was lean forward and cup her chin as if he had locked on to his prey.
  • Abby moved backward in a hurry while trying her best to push his hand back. Trembling, she blurted out, "S-Sorry. I must have gotten into the wrong room. I'll leave right away."
  • However, the man had an iron grip on her. No matter how she tried, she couldn't move an inch.
  • As the light was dim, and the man was facing her, Abby couldn't see how he looked, even though the woman could feel his hot breath on her skin. Something exploded in her mind, and then she quivered and struggled. “No! Let me go! Let me go!”
  • The man's gaze darkened as he grabbed her arms before pulling them over her head. A moment later, he leaned forward.
  • Abby suddenly woke up late at night. The strong arm around her waist and the mess of a bed told her what happened just now wasn't a dream.
  • As she bit her lip, a drop of tear rolled down her cheek. A moment later, she pushed the man's arm away from her and pulled the blanket down before getting out of bed.
  • Her body felt as if it had been hit by a road roller, for her legs were jelly, and she felt pain.
  • Abby took the scattered clothes and wore them despite the pain. Without even looking at the sleeping man, she ran out, not looking back.
  • It was drizzling outside when Abby came back to her adoptive family's home, feeling weak. Quietly, she opened the door.
  • However, she was shocked at what she saw inside.
  • The living room's lights were on while her adoptive family and her boyfriend, Mark Stone, were sitting in the living room silently.
  • The air had a somber feel to it.
  • When they saw her coming back, her sister, Alice Lane, rushed up to her. When she saw the hickeys covering Abby's neck, as well as her messy clothes, the woman put on a satisfied smile. Loudly, she announced,
  • "I knew this little b*tch had hooked up with someone."
  • Abby's mind went blank, then she looked at her adoptive mother, Rebecca Young, dumbly. "Mom, you called me—"
  • Before she could finish, Rebecca suddenly dashed toward her and swung a palm at her.
  • Slap!
  • As Abby didn't manage to dodge it in time, the slap landed squarely on her face.
  • Her cheek reddened and swelled up a moment later.
  • Rebecca had an angry look in her eyes when she raised her voice.
  • "I knew I shouldn't have saved you back then! I should have let the car hit you! It's loads better than you being a sl*t and embarrassing the Lane Family!"
  • Abby's adoptive father, Larry Lane, quickly went to stand in front of Abby and defend her. Heartbroken, he scolded Rebecca, "How can you hit our child before even finding out what happened?!"
  • "It's obvious, Dad. We aren't blind. We can easily tell what kind of embarrassing thing she has done." Jealous that her father was being protective of Abby, Alice fanned the flames.
  • "Right, Mark?"
  • Abby suddenly lifted her head, her pitch-black, moist eyes filled with despair as she gazed silently at Mark, who had entered the room without saying a word.
  • The air fell silent in an instant.
  • Mark slowly went up to her, the expression on his handsome face dark. The usually loving gaze lost all its warmth now as he peered at her.
  • "Where did you go this afternoon, Abby?"
  • Abby's lips were trembling, but she couldn't say anything.
  • “I told you, Mark. She wanted to get a role in a TV drama, so she went to sleep with the deputy director. Mr. Shawn is a chubby and ugly man who loved to use these fame-loving undergrads as his playthings."
  • Alice quickly said something when she noticed Abby wasn't saying anything.
  • "I am asking Abby, not you. I will believe whatever Abby says," Mark said coldly, not even looking at her.
  • Feeling angry and awkward, Alice glared at Abby.
  • How can an adopted b*stard like her be so lucky to have a boyfriend like Mark?
  • Abby's eyes teared up as she faced her gentle lover. No matter if she was set up, it was a fact that she had betrayed Mark.
  • She started to cry and shake her head, choking, "I am sorry. I am sorry…"
  • Mark stumbled backward. Then, he glanced at Abby coldly as if he wanted to swallow her whole.
  • He sneered before storming out of Lane Residence.
  • “I'll send Mark off!” Alice went up quickly after throwing that out.
  • Abby had a pale smile when she saw Alice tidying her hair as she left, then she mumbled, "So, this is why you guys set me up."
  • She should have known about this when she saw the jealousy in Alice's eyes and how explicitly she flirted with Mark whenever he showed up. However, she was indebted to the Lane Family for adopting her when she was a kid.
  • So, in order not to worry her beloved adoptive father, she chose silence for many things.
  • However, she didn't expect to be set up right before her engagement with Mark.
  • Something was odd, though. Alice said that the guy she slept with was a chubby and ugly Mr. Shawn.
  • Even though she didn't see his face, Abby knew for a fact that the man who slept with her was tall and muscular.
  • Rebecca's expression changed when she heard what Abby said, and she wanted to give Abby another slap.
  • "What did you say?!"
  • Unexpectedly, Larry grabbed her hand and shoved her back. He roared, "That's enough! We're in a big enough mess now! Abby is our daughter! The most important thing now is to find out what happened!"
  • He then turned to Abby. "What exactly happened, Abby? Was it really like what Alice said?” Larry didn't want to believe it.
  • Abby's face was drained of color. She glanced at Rebecca coldly before rushing upstairs and going into the bathroom.
