• The maids came out of the house after hearing a commotion and wanted to protect Pei Shaoyu and He Nian after spotting them. Pei Shaoyu waved his hand to stop them, as he could take care of the situation on his own. He cautiously pulled He Nian behind him to protect her from Zhong Li.
• “Pei Shaoyu, you're a ruthless monster! She's your sister! How could you do this to her?” Zhong Li stood in front of Pei Shaoyu. Though she was significantly shorter than him, her aggressive behavior was just as intimidating. “Do you know how they tortured her? Who else dares to marry her in the future?”
• He Nian frowned. She was usually grumpy when she woke up in the morning, and now that she was pregnant, she got triggered more easily.
