• "Where is she?" he demanded, his voice a growl as he weaved through traffic, trying to get back to her building as quickly as possible. He wasn't far, and he could already see the road from where he was.
• "Just taking a little nap. Don't bother coming back for her. We'll be gone before you make it back to the building," a voice he didn't recognize responded, sending a chill down his spine.
• "I'm right around the corner. I'll be there before you get the chance to leave. Who are you?" Dylan retorted, his voice laced with fear and anger.
