Chapter 11
- SARAH'S POV
- I didn't wait to turn around when I rushed out of his room until I got into my room and shut the door off.
- I've never felt this hurt and treated this way from someone who isn't part of my family. I do feel hurt when my dad scolds me over little things but not to this point with my new boss.
- I fell on the floor with my hands on my face as the tears kept coming nonstop. I wish I hadn't gotten into this mess in the first place. I wish my mother was still alive, I wouldn't have moved here with my father and his new family.
- Ever since my mother passed away, I haven't had any peace of mind and I don't know if I ever will. Every day gets tough for me but I always find a reason to make myself happy but I don't think I'll have that courage for long experiencing this kind of treatment from my new boss.

- I got up very early and made sure Max was ready for school to avoid getting into trouble with his father again.
- I had forgotten to place his iPad in his bag and had to rush back to pick it up before Mr Russell would head downstairs for breakfast.
- I got to the room and found the iPad laying on the bed before grabbing it and observing the room to be sure I didn't forget anything else.
- I stormed out of the room rushing as fast as possible when I stepped over my own feet and lost my balance but a strong arm grabbed my waist preventing me from rolling over the stairs.
- "Watch where you're going? You might not get lucky next time." He uttered, with his teeth voice as I quickly moved away from him standing on my feet.
- "Good morning sir. I'm sorry for causing you lots of trouble." I apologized, with my head down.
- "Is my son ready for school?"
- "Yes sir. He's having breakfast."
- "Get ready as well. I won't be escorting him today." He stated and walked ahead of me.
- How can he act cool like he didn't scold the living hell out of me last night. He's indeed a cold man who doesn't care if his words hurt a person or not.
- "Is everything alright, miss Sarah?" Henry asked from behind.
- "Mr Henry, good morning."
- "Good morning, Miss Sarah. Did Mr Russell say something to you?" He inquired.
- "Not really. He just asked me to get ready. I better go check up on Max now." I answered and rushed downstairs.
- I got to the dining area and found Max already done eating while his dad was just about to take his.
- "Auntie, come and join daddy for breakfast." The kid said, which made my boss's facial expression change.
- "No, Max. I shouldn't be eating in the dining room with you or your daddy. I also have a special place where I do have my breakfast."
- "Really? Where is it?" He asked which made my boss grumble and got on his feet.
- "Champ, I won't be able to see you off to school. You have to go alone with your nanny from today."
- "Okay daddy but can auntie stay with me?"
- "Yes, son. That's her job after all. Let go Henry." He stated and left the dining room along with Henry.
- It's really surprising how my boss acts perfect with his son but acts rudely and cruel towards other people. He really needs to work on that aspect pretty well.
- JAYDEN'S POV
- "What about the research I asked you to look into?" I asked, while I hopped into the car.
- "I've done all my findings. She isn't a bad person. The rest of the details are in this file." He replied, handing the file to me before getting inside the car as well.
- "You're not in the position to make me accept whether she's a good or bad person."
- "Forgive me, boss."
- "Fix the dinner date with Fiona today."
- "Okay boss."

- I was busy on a particular file when the thought of Sarah came into my head. After going through her files, it shows she spent most of her years in New York.
- I find it strange why she had to leave all that life and moved here after obtaining a good degree that's worth more than becoming a mere nanny.
- I don't know why I am this disturbed and curious to find out more about her. She looks so innocent on the face but I don't know if she's the person she claims to be.
- I need more information about her since Henry only got the one his hands could lay on. I'll have to make a call and ask someone to do a deep background check on her.
- I picked my phone and placed a call over to one of my investigators.
- "Finn, I have got a job for you." I uttered, the moment he picked the call.
- "What's the job, boss?"
- "I want you to do a deep background check on someone."
- "It will be done, boss. What's the person's name?"
- "Her name is Sarah Weston. She spent most of her years in New York which will be easier for you to find every information about her."
- "I'll do that, boss."
- "Good. How's the trail of the culprit who shot me?"
- "The men and I are still trying our best in finding the person."
- "Keep me updated if anything comes up." I instructed before ending the call.
- There's something I'm curious to know right now before making a decision.
- I called Henry over the phone to come over and in less than two minutes he showed up.
- "I'm here, boss."
- "What did you find strange when you did the background check on Sarah?"
- "According to the source I got, her father was the one who forced her into accepting the nanny job."
- "Is that so? Where does he work?"
- "He currently isn't working because his company went bankrupt."
- "I need to meet with him immediately. Have three bodyguards bring him over. He has some explaining to do."
- "What has he done, boss?"
- "I need him to answer a few questions to clear my doubts."
- "What kind of doubts if I may ask, boss?"
- "That's between me and him. Have the bodyguards bring him here."
- "Okay boss." He bowed and left.
- I'm sure he has a bad motive for forcing his daughter to work for me, which I must find out by all means.
