- There’s no day that I haven’t tried to sense Lia. Almost every fifteen minutes! I repeatedly called and begged her in my head to just speak, or at least a moan! But there wasn’t.. Not even a little squeak.
- When Jacob dropped me at our classroom, Sandra and Noah were already at the door. Waiting for me. They told Jacob that they would take care of me in class, as they knew about Lia.
