• “Who are you, anyway? Do you even have a right to speak here?” Maverick asked with a cold expression.
• He had noticed Jaziel a while ago. When Heather sat down earlier, Jaziel and Harlan were standing on either side of her, indicating their high status.
• Maverick had initially assumed that Jaziel was Heather's assistant or something of the sort. After all, based on the lack of calluses on Jaziel's hands and the absence of developed muscles, he didn't seem like someone with high combat prowess.
