• Ares was furious, his eyes glowing, his voice filled with rage.
• Dante kept calm, though everything in him came alert. He was aware of the exact placement of everyone around him, including Freya, standing unafraid by his side as she stepped away from a grunting and frustrated Ariel.
• Ares plunged forward for Dante, and so did Ariel. They attacked, transforming fully. He made for Dante's throat to bite on it, but Dante slashed his underbelly, making Ares howl. He retraced his steps and was swift to grab Dante, slamming him against the wall.
