Chapter 33 Morning sojourn

- The morning light broke through the windows with a gentle warmth, and that was the first thing that greeted me as I slowly stirred from my slumber. The second thing was the tickle of fragrant hair at my nose and a sense that there was a smaller, softer body nestled against my side. I recalled the previous night, as the memories dawned, I couldn't help smirking.
- "Well, good morning there," I said, somewhere close to her ear. My arm had reached out, sometime during the night, and her head rested lightly on it, close to my own. It felt good in an odd way. It's not like I have not had beautiful women before her. But this whole thing just felt different.
