Chapter 30 Conspiracies

• Marilyn stared at the television in anger.  The annoying anchor was rambling about Aiden's sudden unannounced wedding to an unidentified woman.
• Finally, the camera managed to zoom in on the unidentified woman's face.  Marilyn was too shocked to react. How could this happen? Wasn't she supposed to be in jail waiting for trial?? What went wrong with her plan? How on earth did she manage to wheedle Aiden to pay for her bail and marry her? 
• She flew into a rage and grabbed the champagne glass she was drinking from and hurled it at the screen. The screen did not break but the glass shattered. Pieces of glass and champagne stuck to the screen and the floor. Her phone buzzed, and Marilyn glanced at it. It was him.  Tentatively, she picked up the call.
