Chapter 14 Complications

• He closed the door with a resounding thud and turned to look at her. She lay on a huge king-sized bed, glaring at him from across the room. Her eyes burning with fear and anger. His body pulsed on seeing her sprawled like that on the bed.
• Her eyes spoke volumes to him without using any words.  The scared nervous girl shuddered, imagining the things to come, yet the look of bravado stayed etched on her face.
• "Stay away from me," she hissed, in a husky voice. It dripped with venom. How could anyone be so lethal and yet so vulnerable? His eyes roamed over her porcelain smooth skin. The silken tresses, the dreamy almond eyes that glared at him, her proud Grecian nose stood high even when she lay as a prey.
