Chapter 18 Confrontation

• I found Harriet and we chatted for a while. She complimented over my dress. Most people were still unaware that I had arrived with Aiden so I was spared from all the prying questions.
• Our togetherness lasted until she spotted someone she knew and a third person was unwanted. Still, I had ample opportunities to socialize. I held my drink and wandered around getting to know people. I found Larry and some of my team, and they were quite happy to introduce me to others.
