Chapter 111 Disclosing Shadows

• “Hey, sweetheart, where have you been?” Ruth asked. “I’ve been searching all over for you!” Ruth just took a quick look at him. “The tea I made while you were away has gone cold. Anyway, I’ll make you some fresh, hot tea.”
• Ruth was shocked when she entered their room and saw Alfanso, who had unexpectedly caught her. She woke up, and Alfonso was no longer by her side in bed. Earlier, there was no sign of Alfonso. She was surprised to find Alfonso in the room, checking to see if she had drunk her tea.
• Alfonso sat there, silently staring at something on the bedside table in the distance. Ruth’s voice sounded worried as she asked softly, “Hey, are you okay?” It broke the silence.
