Chapter 57 Thinking About Her

• Gavin has an important meeting with some foreign investors. He quickly got ready and left for the office while Arianna was sleeping comfortably on her bed. Gavin took a deep breath before getting into his office. Maria quickly followed him with some files which she placed on his table. She began to prepare some documents which he was going to use for the meeting. Gavin went through the files Maria had placed on the table.
• A knock came at the door and the door went open. Arya stepped in with some files with her. She said her greetings to Maria and Gavin. She dropped the files and informed Gavin of the arrival of the investors whom she has taken to the conference room. Gavin thanked Arya and asked Maria to come along with him. Gavin picked up the importance files and left with Maria for the conference room. He calmed his nerves and forced out a smile. He grabbed the door handle and opened the door and stepped in.
• Arianna turned towards Gavin’s bed and opened her eyes slowly. She noticed Gavin not on his bed. She quickly sat up and her eyes scanned the bedroom hoping to see Gavin. She got out of her bed and searched for him in the bathroom and the closet. She was surprised not to see him in their bedroom and wondered where he was. She grabbed her jacket and went downstairs to search for him. She went to the dinning room but couldn’t find him there. She went to the library and saw no one. While leaving the library she saw a maid whom she called over asking her about Gavin. The maid told her that Gavin has already left for the office. Arianna was quite confused with Gavin’s behavior. Why would he leave for the office without waking her up? She is his PA.
