Chapter 25 A Stressful Pa Day

• Arianna was really jealous of Arya. She wondered how Arya was able to win the heart of her arrogant husband. Arianna decided to do some findings about Gavin and Arya’s relationship. Arianna ordered for some chocolates which she shared to some workers whom she felt could give her the information she needs. She discovered that Gavin was mean to Arya. He would shout at her at every mistake she makes. He made her work life miserable but suddenly changed his attitude towards her. Why would he do that? Gavin has been married to Arianna for five years but never changed his view about her. Arianna decided to play a fast one before she loses Gavin to Arya.
• She got furious after realizing she can’t threaten Arya not because of Gavin’s warnings, it was because she has an image and reputation to maintain. She can’t possibly stand before some girl and threaten her to leave Gavin, she has to maintain her dignity. She got bored doing nothing in Gavin’s office, so she decided to play some pranks on Arya. She sent some coffee over with a bouquet of thorn flowers to Arya.
• Arya was surprised to see a bouquet of flowers and coffee. She quickly picked up the flowers and her fingers got poked by the thorns of the flowers. She quickly threw away the bouquet and grabbed a napkin to wipe off the blood on her fingers. She calmed herself and picked the coffee. She opened it and drank the coffee. Her mouth was on fire. She quickly rushed into the restroom and spat out the coffee. The coffee was spicy. She rinsed her mouth with some water and had a glass of chilled water. She put in some ice blocks in her mouth to ease the pains. She saw the note on the bouquet and took it out to read. “Karma is real”. Arya became confused with what she read. Why would she face karma when she did nothing wrong.
