Chapter 41 Heart Breaking News

• The next morning, Gavin woke up pretty early. He decided to check up on Arianna. He walked her bed and sat beside her. Her beauty caught his attention and he smiled. He wondered if she was sober enough to go to work with him. He stood up and walked to his study desk and pulled out the drawer and took out a the ECP and poured water into the cup and placed them on the table and left for the bathroom.
• Arianna woke up and stretched out. She noticed a glass of water on the table. She got out of her bed to have the water when she noticed a tablet laying on the cover of the cup. She was surprised and picked it up to take thinking it was a pain killer. On a second thought, she doubted it was a pain killer. She placed the drug back on where she picked it from and searched for the packet of the drug. She searched the drawers of the cabinet and the wardrobe. She stood for a while thinking of where else to search when her eyes fell on Gavin’s study desk. She quickly rushed to the study desk and pulled out the drawers one after the other and searched them thoroughly. She hoped the last drawer had what she was looking for. She pulled it out and lifted a book and saw the drug packet laying under it .
• She recalled she had taken the drug yesterday at the office on Gavin’s insistence after they came back from the hospital. That was pretty strange for her husband to come out of the doctor’s office and give her some strange drug to take and she stupidly consumed it. Something felt fishy. She doesn’t trust Gavin. She quickly changed into her gym outfits, took the packet and left for car. She got into her car and called in Brittany asking Brittany to meet up with her at a hospital. She texted the hospital to Brittany. Brittany arrived at the hospital. She stood at the entrance waiting for Arianna. Few minutes later, Arianna drove in and noticed Brittany standing alone.
