Chapter 43 Perfect Retaliation 2

• Gavin and Arianna had a good night sleep. Gavin enjoyed sleeping alone without having Arianna around staring at him while he sleeps, it actually makes him uncomfortable. He was really happy with what Arianna had told him that night. The truth she revealed gave him peace of mind which made him sleep like a baby. His anxiety disappeared. Arianna’s good night sleep was not as perfect as Gavin’s cause she was hurt by Gavin. She couldn’t believe that Gavin could go to such extent to make sure nothing binds them and now she has realized that Gavin’s hatred for her may never disappear. She managed to console herself with the new powers she got from Gavin’s dad.
• They woke up in their separate rooms feeling fresh and happy but Gavin was happier. Arianna left for their bedroom to grab her things as she had spent the night in the guest room. She knocked on the door and got no response. She slowly opened the door and scanned the room before walking in. She didn’t want to see Gavin’s face. She believes his face will ruin her morning and all her hardwork will go to waste. She quickly rushed to the wardrobe, opened it and selected some outfits, she picked two pairs of heels, picked out some jewelleries and carried her makeup box. While she did all that, Gavin was enjoying a lovely warm shower in the bathroom. He was singing. Arianna paused when she heard him sing. She was furious to hear him sing but then…he didn’t have a terrible voice. She smirked and returned back to the guest room and locked the door.She had a nice bath and began to get dressed. She ordered the maids to serve her breakfast in the guest room.
• Gavin finished up and went down for breakfast. He wore a beautiful smile on his face. His father noticed the beautiful smile on Gavin’s face and misinterpreted it that Gavin was happy because of Arianna’s appointment. George didn’t bother asking Gavin if Arianna had told him about what they discussed and her appointment. Mr George and Gavin had a little chat while they enjoyed their breakfast. Samantha walked and noticed Arianna absent from the dinning room. One of the maids informed Samantha that Arianna had ordered her to serve her (Arianna’s) breakfast in the guest room. Samantha yelled at the maid and turned to leave for the guest room when George stopped her from doing so. Samantha had wanted to scold Arianna but was stopped. George asked her to sit and have breakfast with them. Gavin was done with his breakfast. He gave a peck to his mum and patted his father’s shoulder, took his bag and left for the car. Before stepping out of the house, he turned back hoping to see Arianna rushing down the stairs, but no sign of her. He turned back and left for his car. Today is an important day for him, he can’t afford to mess it up.
