Chapter 55 Fifty Four

• While Xander and the rest were trying to figure out a away to bring down Avril, Alexandra was with Jennifer in some kind of underground basement. She has no idea how or when they got here but they somehow did. Everything happened like a blur. Alexandra couldn't wait any longer for Xander to tell her where Jennifer was so she took matters into her own hands. She left her kids in the hands of the guards and instructed them to protect her children while she was out. She left the hospital to the mansion where Avril was. To check if Jennifer was there.
• On getting to the mansion, Alex was surprised to see no guards around. Where did they go? They couldn't have suddenly disappeared, right? Pushing back the numerous questions she had, Alex pushed the door open and was welcomed by a silent house. It was as if no one was home. It was then that Alex knew something was off. With her super hearing, Alex could hear a voice from the third floor. It was a woman's and it seemed like she were on a phone call. Alex followed the sound and it led her to a room in the third floor.
• Alexandra could hear the voice louder now and she could tell who it was - Avril. As she was about to go in, what she heard made her pause by the door.
