Chapter 49 Forty Eight

• The evening was draped in the soft hues of the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the sprawling mansion where Alexandra and Xander resided. As the shadows grew longer, Alexandra felt an unsettling urge to find her other children. She found Aaron playing basketball in the garden.
• "Where is your brother, Aaron?" She asked him.
• "I don't know." Aaron replied, not sparing his mother a glance as he continued to shoot the ball in the basket. Alexandra went over to Aaron, about to scold him when her eyes caught a strange inscription on a bench.
