• The words of the Alpha kept repeating in my head, and as much as I wanted it to leave the space of my head, it only grew louder. Soon enough, I began to question myself the reason why I was unhappy at first when he first declared his verdict. He had informed Adrian about his last, arduous task, and I could help him make the task less complex if he would cooperate with me.
• "I actually kept the seal. I know where I kept it in the woods," I said to him through the mind link, and then he nodded his head briefly in real life before he joined me outside and we headed towards the middle of the woods.
