Chapter 7 A Frightening Scar

• Maddie’s POV
• I shuddered in fear as I kept on looking at him. The man stared down at me with a wild heated gaze and I could swear that he was about to send me out of his house. My aunt would be mad, but it was really not my fault.
• I had warned her about this. Gosh, she knew she was selling me to a super-rich Alpha and yet, she thought it was a good idea to lie to him. I was done for and I could only hope that he would allow me to at least live. I was not ready to die, especially for the sins of my aunt.
