• My legs marched on with long strokes over to Maddie’s bedroom. My housekeeper had pointed out her room to me and that was all I needed to force the truth out of her.
• Without bothering to knock, I pushed open her door and stormed into her room. Our eyes immediately met as soon as I got in. She was coming out of the bathroom and had a towel tied around her wet body. I watched her freeze with fear and a millisecond later, the towel dropped down, revealing her beautiful naked body.
