Chapter 50 A Deal With Th Devil

  • The sun dipped low over the horizon, casting long shadows across the sprawling estate where Evangelina had taken refuge. Raimundo watched from the treeline, his face twisted in frustration. He had tried every possible way to infiltrate the estate—bribing guards, exploiting weak spots in the security, even resorting to violence. But each attempt had failed. The estate was heavily fortified, with state-of-the-art systems and vigilant guards, all presumably under the direct orders of Aemilio, the man who now controlled Evangelina's fate.

But Aemilio had refused to return her, refusing every bribe, every threat. Raimundo wasn't sure what Aemilio's game was, but it enraged him to think that someone else was profiting from the very woman he had sold to him in the first place.
  • In the gathering dusk, as he stared at the estate walls and the guards patrolling them, Raimundo realized there was only one option left: Antonio Souza.
