• I started moving slowly, being careful of where I placed my feet. I still had to stretch a lot further than I was comfortable with. I was just starting to get into a rhythm when I did the stupidest thing and looked down. It hadn’t seemed this high when I was climbing up it.
• “Slow and steady.” Emil’s voice came through the earpiece.
