• "Prince, I have been waiting for you at the car pack. It is getting darker, or do you plan to sleep over?" Carl fumbled, trying to hide the frustration in his voice.
• "We are leaving now." I responded, turning to him and back to the woman who wouldn't remove her gaze from me. It was just as if she was studying something about me that I couldn't actually understand.
• "Good evening, ma'am." Carl sent his greetings to her in respect, smiling freely and forcing me to stare at him, confusedly wondering why he doesn't feel the same toward this woman.
