Chapter 9

  • 2Harold had woken up earlier and left the mansion before Annie woke up. She stared at the time on the gold wall clock, realizing she had forty minutes to prepare. Hurriedly, she got out of bed, stopping halfway to the bathroom as memories of the other night clouded her head. "You're worth the wait," Harold's words echoed in her mind. She remembered vividly the way he had thrust inside her, feeling warm against her, her moans muffled by his kisses and sweet words.
  • "This is too early for this, Annie," she cajoled herself, forcing the memories out of her head. She hurried into the bathroom and got under the shower, her nostrils burning like a coal flame as the heat in her body rushed out like the body shampoo. She washed her body down to her core, unconsciously biting her lip gently as the image of Harold working magic on her popped up his slow thrusts, the switch in pace, and his melodic groans.
  • Her phone rang, and she rushed out of the bathroom to answer. "I'm so sorry, Kate, I'm on my way," she babbled, anticipating Kate's always understanding response.
