  • The Palace of Versailles in Paris was the best place in Paris Harold liked, he'd believed the myth attached with the place, but Harold hadn't felt it. He was lost. It wasn't anxiety or depression, it was his cold heart, unable to bear his new longings.
  • "Can we leave now, sir?" Jay asked, noticing his boss's lack of enthusiasm. He had known Harold to be the life of the party, though he wasn't a fan of public gatherings. Harold's personal outings were always lively, and he enjoyed them.
  • "Yes, take me to Alfades restaurant. I missed their curry soup," Harold said, hiding once again behind his facade.
