• When I glanced up into two familiar green eyes, I had the feeling that I was home and that everything was going to be well. As long as Henry was here with me, nothing else mattered. He apologized and pressed his forehead against mine while caressing my cheek and saying,
• "I'm sorry, Samantha bear." I decided to savor the proximity of his presence by closing my eyes. In a soft voice, he confessed, "I'm an asshole, I know, and I'm so sorry, I love you Samantha bear." I was unable to talk, so I did the one thing in the world that I wanted to do more than anything else, which was to kiss him. He responded immediately by kissing me back with such intensity that it caused me to lose my breath.
