• I said this to the girl who was two years older than me when she had to start raising a grieving hormonal teenage brother. "I'm sorry about your Mom and Dad, but your sister sounds great for taking you on like that and still being a kid herself," I said, kind of in awe of this girl who had to start raising a grieving hormonal teenage brother.
• "Jenifer is wonderful, and she actually works here; however, she won't be here tonight because she has the night off," he replied with a grin. I let out a sigh of relief because I hadn't planned on meeting his family on such an early stage in our relationship.
