Chapter 52
- Over the next week and the week after I had no chance to take Heather’s advice because of my exams. I studied hard with Charlie and let me tell you Charlie is a blessing when she explains difficult topics. Everyone should be blessed with a friend like Charlie Fudge who supports, loves and looks out for her friends. I had expected her to prod me on what Heather and I talked about but she didn’t ask any questions, we simply moved on from it and went back to being friends and roommates but I know she hopes Heather and I come to an understanding soon.
- My new friendship with Tyler was also blossoming at a rather rapid pace. When he is not against you Tyler was quite the charmer. He is funny and his carefree lifestyle was just what I needed to deal with the pressure of exams and the knowledge that I would have to confront Christian one day. While he never left Christian’s side he did show his friendliness by shouting my name across the dining hall and playfully slapping my shoulder when we passed each other in the halls. Lola was still not talking with Heather nor was she speaking with Tyler but Jordan and Dahlia were slowly getting close with Heather again.
- As the end of exams drew near the chance to talk with Christian presented itself when I found out we were slab partners for the chemistry exam which happened to be our last exam. As much as I was looking forward to finally getting the opportunity to talk to him I also had to study and I did just that. Chemistry is one of my weak points academically but with Annabel and Charlie by side, I was finally prepared for it when Thursday came rolling in.
