• On getting home, he met the greatest shock of his life. She had packed all her things to the guest bedroom. He thought she had a good surprise for him, was this the surprise? He asked himself in anger, feeling his jaw twitched. There was no way he was going to allow her move into that bedroom, she would definitely stay with him. He couldn't afford that, not now or ever. Never? What was he saying? The contract was bound to expire less than two years from now so he had to brace up himself for what was coming. Damn, he thought she wanted to patch things up between them, a nice meal waiting for him with her in a sling lingerie or something, but definitely not this, he thought to himself, trying to keep his anger in check.
