Chapter 15 The Contract

• It's been a week since I've been at the mansion, and I don't see many people other than the servants. The house is always so dull, and I lazy around every day. The last time I saw Nikolas was when he came to get the bracelet from me. He didn't as much as greet me; he only held out his hand and demanded it.
• I get ready for the day, wearing black jeans and a tank top. Now that there is no danger, I want to go out and look around the new town. I put my phone in my pocket and walk out of the yard.
• Three hours later, I'm still exploring and loving this small town. Like Nikolas, they are not too friendly but not hostile either.
