Chapter 21 Love Should Exist
- “It should be next week or the third week of this month,” Dr. Miller uttered after she checked on me.
- Caden gazed at me with worry in his eyes, while Marissa seemed delighted by the news that she would finally meet her grandchild any time soon. Caden panicked when I told him my hips were killing me that morning, and so he called Dr. Miller, fearing that I was already in labor.
- “It happens.” Dr. Miller smiled at both of us. She seemed excited as well about the baby: “It’s called false labor. There would be pain until your body was ready to give birth, Giselle. But if anything happens, like heavy bleeding, you should call me right away.”
