Chapter 8 The Party

• "With your behavior , l might decide to chain you on the bed instead of giving you freedom", He spoke confidently. "Try it once and see, you will regret why you bought me", l hissed out. "Whatever it is but like it or not you will be underneath me by the time am done", At his exclamation my insides waterburned with extreme rage and hatred. This is what Jack also did to me and then betrayed me.
• "There is a ceremony taking place tonight, l want you to prepare yourself but as l mentioned before , you must always address me as sir and you must respect those who are superior to you, once you arrive at the party you gonna meet them and don't forget you only speak when spoken to", He explained while staring at me.
• "What am l, a circus animal?", l shouted loudly with anger evidently showing in my eyes, " Am not like you ... beast whatever it is and am not going to attend it",
• "We thanking the moon goddess for bringing me an old whore to be my mate ", He hissed out then left.

• " No my goodness ", As soon as I heard the door being opened again , l angrily shouted. Just like Damien had told me , the make up artist entered with a bag in her hands. "Hello, Alpha Damien has told me to help you dress up", She murmured as she closed the door behind her back.
• "Am different from all of you , leave me alone", l burst out at her while crossing my arms against my chest. She grimaced at my response and I inwardly felt hurt. Maybe I shouldn't have yelled at her , she wasn't the one who trapped me here. " Miss .... ",
• "Tell that sick bastard to let me go , am not going to dress up ", l stopped her short in mid sentence.
• "Miss Zoey l understand that you not in your best condition but I think it would be better if you did as the Alpha said unless you want one of his goons to manhandle you",As soon as I heard her say that, a shiver ran down my spine. Just the thought of those bastards touching me was enough to make me lose my appetite. Everything I did recall was the way one of the bastards gripped my throat. I was going to die.
• "Okay", l told her then walked over to her making her look at me in surprise. She probably thought that it would take some more threats to coax me into listening. "What do you want me to do", I asked her in the most tiny and naive voice l could muster. "Just sit down and l will do the rest", she humbly informed me.

• After spending a good couple of minutes while dressing up, finally here l was walking with the guards l didn't know walking besides me . Slowly l walked downstairs into the Hall where the party had been held up. It was organized all because of me. The inside of the castle was mesmerizing and while gazing around, l couldn't help it when my jaw went loose and hit the ground in amazement. As unbelievable as it was these beasts were really rich.
• Throughout the walking, my eyes were wide as if l was trying to memorize every unique design of the castle. Everything was different from the normal buildings l used to see in the city ,the walls were also an off white color. On my right there was a door that led to the dining room and on my left there was a door which I unfortunately didn't know where it led.
• Being lost in my observation , l didn't notice that a few people had approached us until l heard the woman speaking. "What's wrong with her ?", She whisper yelled at her blonde haired friend. "Oh miss close your mouth , a housefly might fall in your mouth", The blonde haired giggled.
• "Huh!", I felt all the blood drain from my face. This was really embarrassing and the guards were laughing at me again. "She acts like she has never seen something like this", The other one giggled too. "She is the ugly surrogate", The blonde replied back. "Alpha Damien can't love someone like her , look there he is", My ears instantly turned red when I heard that.
• On turning , l felt my heart break into pieces.The harsh asshole had his hands laced around a lady. I didn't whoever the hell she was but she was probably the one he loved. I shrugged my shoulders not caring. "I really pity her, he surely chose a slut over his mate", The ladies went on but l didn't care. I knew nothing about what they were talking about. The only thing I knew was that I was fated to Jack who later betrayed me.
• Silently standing in my heavy dress , l watched the beautiful couple greet the elders and important people. Damien was dressed up in a black tuxedo suit and the lady whom he was walking with was dressed up in a red silky dress that had the slit up her thighs. She was honestly different from me.
• I didn't know who the hell did it , but he or she made sure that I get a very big and heavy dress. I was honestly feeling out of the place. Most of the ladies were dressed up in hot smoking dresses and l was dressed in a dull colored dress.
• Finally after a pretty good time, l saw the couple make their way to me. I felt like turning on my heels and run away but the gaze , Damien threw in my way made me to freeze in the dress. Any mistake done was exactly going to lead me into trouble. Lastly they made their way to me.
• "Harriet meet Zoey Martinez", l felt blood furiously pump in my heart when I heard him shamelessly introduce me. "Mhm", came the snotty reply of the bitch. "Zoey this Harriet, one of the people you must respect", He said with a smirk on his face. "So she is the ugly breeder", She spoke again and the bitchness in her voice couldn't be any easier to decipher. Right many of the people called me ugly together with the guards but her calling me made me to lose my temper. I was done with being disrespected.
