Chapter 43 Sisters

• Sophie stood at a corner, staring at Nina and Ezra. They had come down to the living room, and she was cozying up with him, talking in whispers and laughing. He seemed to enjoy listening to whatever she was telling him. She demanded for some chicken, not too long ago, and Sophie was made to get it for her, and Nina had been demanding more things since then. Sophie was quite sure that she just wanted to spite her.
• Bile rose up her throat as she watched them. Nina seemed very happy, and she hated it. She was there, working all day in the kitchen and other parts of the house that needed attention, yet her bitch sister with a pathetic wolf was enjoying all the care from her husband who happened to be an Alpha, a strong and handsome one. It was supposed to be the other way around, it was her who always got all the good things, not Nina. She remembered the times their parents would buy things for her, but not for Nina, and she would show it to her just to spite her. Was this some kind of pay back?
• Her mind began to work on overdrive, thinking about the things she could do to make Ezra leave Nina. She had tried to set her up before, but it only backfired, and she was made to work like never before. She remembered how her body hurt that day. Lord, she wasn't equipped for this life.
