- The chilly night breeze brushed against my skin as I headed back to the cabin, with the moon shining brightly overhead like a vigilant guardian. I was feeling confused, my mind jumping between the day's events and my growing concern for Aurora. All my instincts were informing me that something was not right, that there were parts of the puzzle I didn't understand. I needed answers urgently.
- As the cabin's dim light shone like a guiding light in the dark, I hastened my steps. The elderly lady was already outdoors as though she had been anticipating my arrival. Hunched over, she stood tightly clutching her shawl around her shoulders, her eyes resembling dark pits in the flickering lantern light.
