Chapter 65 Brian's Anger

• I froze as I heard Brian's voice. He never came to my room except the time I had fainted at the engagement party. I was scared out of my mind and afraid of what he would want.
• “Come in,” my mother clipped as she sat on the couch and I covered myself with the bed cover.
• Brian slipped into the room, his face held high. He looked at my mother who stood up and went to hug him, but he frowned at her as he shook her off him, with a frown on his face.
