Chapter 23 The Past Sins(2)

• My mother was the mole who had sold my father out to the FBI. It turns out she fell in love with a drug baron who wanted to take out my father. He told her what to do, and she reported my father and placed the allegations on him, and he took the fall for this. After everything was done, the drug baron dumped her.
• I found out on my eighteenth birthday, the first time I went to see my father in prison. He was broken and seemed to have gone mad with revenge, so I never went back to see him.
• Though I didn’t forgive my mother, she was still my mother, even when she ventured into prostitution to feed me when we had no food or place to stay. She did all illegal things when I was little. It was when I was eighteen that I started being so independent.
