• “How are you feeling today?” Doctor Sydney asked when she came to examine me that evening. “You’re still alive and in one piece, so that’s a good sign.”
• “I’m not so sure about that.” My body felt like it had been run over by a truck and my head…It was like I’d fought the angel of death and lived to tell the tale. “Not if your king has anything to do about it.” He continually pushed my buttons pushing me past my limit.
