Chapter 19 The Hero

• When Torin glanced outside, he saw a small, new model electric car at the crossroads being struck by a truck. The car was sent flying several meters away before it overturned and landed on the roadside.
• The car's rear was already billowing white smoke and spitting out lengthy bursts of flame every couple of seconds. Inside the vehicle, a long-haired woman was frantically pounding on the window, pleading for help in utter desperation. She was trapped! Moreover, in the back seat, there was a three-year-old little girl who had already fallen unconscious.
• A considerable crowd had gathered around, but the intensity of the flames was too great. No one dared to help. All they could do was dial the emergency number.
