• Miranda’s face fell, and she put her teacup down heavily. “But she’s pregnant with Connor’s child, and Connor’s not exactly young anymore. And he almost never gets in touch with any girl. If you’re not letting Hannah marry him, Connor will die childless. Do you know what that means for the family?”
• “Any woman can get pregnant. Connor won’t be childless without her.” Isabelle refused to budge. “You have no idea the kind of woman Hannah is. I’ve looked into her case. She used to be Sebastian’s fiancée. And do you know why he broke up with her? Because she got involved in a nude loan.
