- Determined to have Connor by her side for the night, Karla returned to her bed and silently waited for the man to come out. Nonetheless, minutes and seconds went by while the bathroom door remained still. Two hours later, Karla saw water seeping through the gap beneath the bathroom door. Thus, she quickly put her ear to the door, only to hear nothing but silence. Did he pass out and drown in the bathtub? Oh no! I only want to keep him by my side, not kill him.
- “Are you there, Connor?” Despite her desperate response, her words were only met with an eerie silence, which unnerved her even more. “Please don’t scare me, Connor! Come out now!” she frantically shouted with a trembling voice and soon approached the bedside table to get her phone and call Connor’s mother. “Hello, Mrs. Langley. Connor has locked himself up, so I’m worried about him. Could you please get someone to open the door earlier?”
- “What did you do? Where is he now?” Mrs. Langley angrily questioned Karla.
