• A day had passed ever since Emery regained her consciousness and since she was being hunted, she abided by the instructions of the Arcana Heads. Lila told her that another message will surely arrive that day, thus, Emery sat behind the small table and took the quill in order to write a letter to them.
• “Lila,” she called out to her colleague who was busy keeping the fire up in the furnace. Without looking at her she added, “How did your investigation go regarding the previous queen?”
• Emery heard a heavy sigh before Lila replied, “I did not find anything much since she just stayed in one of the inns at the third circle of the capital. She would just come out to buy some food and that was it. I cannot even go inside and try to peek at what she was doing or whom she was talking to because the inn was heavily guarded.”
