Chapter 8 To Claim His Mate

• ALPHA ELEO’S POV
• I was restless since yesterday when I learned what happened to my mate whom I refused to accept. Somehow, I feel guilty but what’s bothering me more is the pain that I am feeling now. I, somehow rejected her, I never marked her neither we have mated but the mate pull with her was already this strong.
• “Beta Gani, we need to do something to help, Adamantem. But I don’t want to expose myself. Do it for me.” I told my Beta, who looked at me shaking his head. He knew how proud I could be and hardheaded.
• “What? Don’t you want to follow your Alpha?” I snapped at him. He just replied to me with a laugh. Sometimes, I don’t know if we are too close already that he can do this to me but I am sure as hell that he is the best Beta in the whole werewolf realm.
• “Can I disobey the great Alpha Eleo’s command?” Beta Gani retorted with a smirk on his face.
• “You better not, Beta!” I said sternly.
• He sighed and murmured, “Poor beautiful, Adamantem. You got a truly loving Alpha in the name of Alpha Eleo.”
• I growled at him and he laughed again. “Just do it now! Make it fast but make sure that we will not be in trouble, Beta!”
• “Yes, Your Highness. Consider it done. Your beautiful mate will be here within the day,” my Beta said grinning before he walked away to follow my command.
• Before my Beta left the packhouse together with one of our best warriors, I called him again and handed him a wooden box.
• “What is this, my dear Alpha?” Beta Gani asked curiously. He looked at the wooden box and after seeking consent from his Alpha, he opened the wooden box. Beta Gani was astonished to see a ton of golf inside it. “What is this for, Alpha?” he asked again.
• “You can offer that to the Alpha Father of Adamantem so that he would release her to you,” With a firm tone, I said that brought a sudden smile on Beta Gani’s lips.
• Beta Gani nodded, with such mystic smile creaping his lips.
• “What?” the Alpha asked somewhat annoyed.
• “Nothing, Your Highness. I just can sense that you will do everything to get your mate.” Beta Gani’s tone was teasing and I, his Alpha just snorted at him.
• “Just go, Beta. You are so talkative like a parrot.Just go and do your assignment!”
• “Alright, alright, we are going now. Be ready for the coming of your future Luna,” Beta Gani said teasing still, before he and his collegues, left their packhouse.
• I followed with my eyes the group of Beta Gani, until I could no longer see them. I murmured a prayer, wishing that there will be no blood that will spill in the process of taking his mate that he could not accept yet.

• BETA GANI’S POV
• I could not understand what is eating up the mind of my Alpha. He is a good friend of mine for so long but sometimes, I could not still comprehend how his minds really works. His mind and the way he thinks is definitely a complicated one. He has been waiting for long to meet his mate but when he met her, he almost rejected her. Absurd, absolutely absurd. She is young and stunning and if it happened that she was the one destined for me by the Moon Goddess, I will immediately encircled her into my arms and mark her as mine.
• Alright, my Alpha Eleo, my best friend has a point why he did not accept readily Adamantem, his mate. He said that he could not accept her because of the thought that her father sent her intentionally to hook up with him, get him and of course get his alliance with his father’s not too strong pack. Aside from that, he is one of the wealthiest Alpha in the realm, that is why a lot of she-wolf dreamed of becoming his Luna. But if I were my Alpha Bestfriend, I would not hesitate a bit; so what I her father sent her to hook me; what matters for me is the fact that she was the chosen one by the Moon Goddess as my mate and my future Luna. Anyhow, I am Beta Gani and not Alpha Eleo; and that made the young and beautiful Adamantem a pitiful beauty. How I wish, one day Alpha Eleo would accept her as his mate and future Luna.
• Hours past so speedily and I already saw the gate of the Green Meadows Pack’s small village. I motioned to my comrades to slow down and observe well. We should be careful as there might be some snares or traps that would hinder any enemy to reach the gate of the Green Meadows Pack.
• Luckily, we were able to reach the gate of the Green Meadows Pack’s village smoothly.
• I introduced myself to the gate’s guards after a few checking with us and talking to their radio with another guard or maybe their Alpha himself, we were allowed already by the guards to enter the village.
• The Alpha of the Green Meadows Pack and his second wife or Luna were standing nearby the main door of their packhouse, while both intensely looking at our approaching group.
• I alighted from my horse and bowed my head to Alpha Theodore, while my men stayed still at the back of their horses.
• “What do you want from us Beta of Golden Valley Pack? Your Alpha rejected my daughter, so why are you here?” The Alpha of the Green meadows Pack asked me with a lifted eyebrow.
• “Alpha Theodore, that was not what happened. My Alpha did not actually reject your daughter. He was just hesitant at first to accept her; and there is a big difference between that. After some contemplation, my Alpha Eleo sent me here to claim his mate,” I said in my most placid and confident tone.
• I am here to represent my own Alpha, so I should act and speak not like a Beta but like an Alpha, if I wanted to gain equal respect from the Alpha of Green Meadows Pack and eventually get Adamantem, the very purpose or reason, why I am here in their village.
