Chapter 66
- *Bruno*
- Although days have passed since the last time I saw Jason, Lucia's ex, holding her in the restroom, I still boiled each time I thought about it. I wanted to rip him apart. The last thing I wanted right now was to see him. I puffed smoke out of my mouth and nose as I pushed the document in front of me away. No matter what I did, I just couldn't concentrate. My heart has been full of so much hate. I had men watching Lucia's every move. Not because I don't trust her. I trusted her with my life; I had men there, so I would know whenever the fool thought of going back to her. And as luck would have it, he hadn't approached her after that day.
- I moved my eyes to the documents, raising one. I pushed the thought behind me. I had a package that was coming and I needed to get it sorted out. Also, I had to sort out whatever rumors I heard that morning. It wasn't the first time I heard it, but it was the first time I had decided to talk about it and take it seriously.
