• I didn't want to believe that Jason had found out. I wanted to pretend that he hadn't just walked out on me a while ago.
• Jason had been with me for a while. And though what I wanted from him was more than just living in the same house, I was content. It felt surreal to see the man I loved each morning I woke up. I could have breakfast with him. And then drink with him. Jason didn't have a specific time he drank and could get wasted in the middle of the day.
