• Thelma's private life? Will she see other men?
• Unconsciously, such a thought occurred to me. When I gave it more thought, it seemed absurd. Thelma's heart was filled with hate towards men.
• For someone like her, seeing other men would be uncomfortable.
• Thelma probably doesn't want me getting too engaged in her life. My relationship with her is limited to this villa.
• I initially didn't want to get too engaged, so I agreed to the arrangement.
• She gave a brief nod, then questioned, "Hey, Reuben…do you want to go to school?"
• "School? Of course, I thought about it. After all, it's sad to be regarded as illiterate, right?" I shrugged. "But I've already dropped out of school."

• "Isn't private school hard to get into?" I scratched my head in confusion. "Back in my town, I've heard many candidates had studied hard but still failed to get in. Are you suggesting you'll pull some string to get me in? I know you and Tessa work in that school…but won't that be hard?"
• It was Thelma's turn to be surprised. She looked at me with disbelief and said, "It seems you know nothing."
• "The Exeter School was founded by the Katz family." Thelma coldly remarked.
• I almost spat out my drink. I looked at Thelma with complete bewilderment. The most notorious high school in the province is founded by her family?
• She must be joking.
• "I'm the chairman of the school. It's no problem to arrange your enrolment," Thelma said casually.
• For Thelma, this was childsplay.
• I was totally perplexed. I knew the Katz family was wealthy, but not this much. I had a sneaking suspicion that the Katz family possessed a terrifying amount of influence.
• Even though Thelma is the school's chairperson, some procedures are still necessary to admit a student without cause.
• Thelma worked on this issue for the past few days.
• Thelma is also quite compliant with the guidelines she has established, and her attitude toward me has significantly improved.
• Every night, she will keep her end of the bargain and hand over a pair of stockings she has been wearing all day.

• It appeared as though I had done something wrong.
• I swiftly released the girl's shoulders and asked her where the school's administrative building was.
• The girl pointed ahead, and I found the building.
• I thanked the girl and sprinted ahead. I ran because it had been more than thirty minutes since the scheduled time. It appeared that Aunt Tessa was on the seventh floor.
• This school was quite opulent. Each teacher had their own office.
• I climbed all the way to the top because I was too impatient to wait for the elevator. A person in white suddenly appeared in front of me as I approached the corner, prompting us to collide.

• My head slammed into the chest of the individual.
• I lurched backwards as a result of the elastic force of my forehead bouncing against it. I lost balance and hit the ground.
