• Humans were no different than animals. Animals knew when to recognize hierarchy and so did Richardo when he saw Daniel’s call. Although it was involuntary, fear took over him and he wasn’t able to answer the phone.
• He stared down at the phone which trembled in his hands, Daniel’s number boldly flashing across his screen. To further feed his pride, Richardo didn’t save Daniel’s number because he felt he wasn’t worth his time.
