• Meredith strolled out of the classroom, veering away from her usual path to seek out Seth. Instead, she breezed past the school gates, summoned a cab, and headed towards King Court Hospital. Stopping by the fruit shop adjacent to the hospital entrance, she procured a vibrant fruit basket before making her way to the fifth floor of the inpatient department, finally slipping into the last room at the far end of the corridor.
• Inside the ward, there were no vigilant bodyguards, only Arthur reclining on the hospital bed clad in a standard-issue gown. "Ms. Reign, what brings you here?" Arthur perked up upon catching sight of Meredith.
• "I've come to see how you're faring. How's the wound healing?" Meredith locked the door and set the fruit basket on the nearby table.
