Chapter 277 A Tug of Trust

  • The room Zenon led her to was an office. The desk had a computer with three monitors, and a large whiteboard covered in diagrams of relationships and interests hung on the wall opposite the desk. In the center were two photos: one of a woman in black and white and one of a man in color. The woman wasn't strikingly beautiful but had an elegant demeanor. The man bore some resemblance to Zenon. They were Meredith's foster parents.
  • Meredith pulled her hand away and walked up to examine the information.
  • The ties leading from her foster parents were mostly to Stormborn family members, which was consistent with what she knew, but Zenon had a bit more information, especially about who benefited most after Emmette's death and Yanis's imprisonment.
